There is sad news for all of Eric the Red Basll's followers out there.

It is no longer a rumour, but it has been confirmed. In July, Eric the Red ball encountered a retarded little dog named Barney. They played together for quite a while, but Barney turned out to be the aggressive one in their little game, and in a savage move, Barney lunged his teeth through Barney's skin, causing a slow and painful deflation to Eric. In an effort to reunite Eric with his wife, Erika the Orange Ball, in Montreal, ERic took a trip out East later in July, with the apprehensive permission of his doctors. He was reunited with Erika in Montreal, but was so spent from his cross-country journey that he jsut couldn't hold on.

Eric is sadly missed by his wife, Erika, and his super friends from SUPERTEAM. He also met many interesting folks along the ride called life. PLease take a moment in your busy days to reflect on the fun times that you may have spent hanging out with Eric... at the beach, on the plane, at the bar... Three cheers for ERIC THE RED BALL.
Eric the Red Ball was born on Saturday, July 31, 1999. He was found at a corner store on Bloor Street in Toronto, just a couple of doors down from a Coffee Time coffee shop. This is where the infamous quote by one of his guardians, Scott, came to exist when he asked the shop keeper, "How much for your balls?"

Eric the Red Ball was named almost immediately by his care-givers, better known as Superteam! The members of Superteam! are Brigitte, Ryan, Jon-Jon, Scott and Andrew. This site is devoted to Eric the Red Ball. Throughout the month of August, Eric the Red Ball travelled to numerous attractions, including downtown Toronto, the Toronto Subway, Wasaga Beach,and probably the highlight of his journey, the Canadian Forces Music Centre, housed on C.F.B. Borden.
